Days before the January 2024 New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary, thousands of voters received a robocall in what sounded exactly like Joe Biden's voice telling them: 'Don't vote this Tuesday... save your vote for the November election.' The call was entirely fake — generated by an AI voice clone. A political consultant in New Orleans was later identified as the source and fined $6 million by the FCC — the largest robocall fine ever issued.
