Johansson revealed she had previously declined OpenAI's request to license her voice, and that Sam Altman had reached out again just two days before the launch — she hadn't responded. OpenAI suspended the Sky voice after she threatened legal action. Altman had even tweeted 'her' — a reference to the film — when announcing GPT-4o.
